| When one thinks of wedding favors, one usually thinks of custom printed shot glasses. Gone are the days when most couples would opt for edible wedding favors. Generally, couples want their favors to mean something – and that includes being able to be kept and remembered through the years. These days, custom printed shot glasses are one of the most popular favors picked by the bride and groom. That is probably because shot glasses are cost-effective, as well as functional. Shot glasses can be bought almost everywhere, including online – for convenient internet shopping; and are versatile when it comes to presenting it. In terms of “dressing up” shot glasses as custom wedding favors, there a number of options on how to do it. It can have the simple look by just having the couple’s names printed on it along with the date and venue of the wedding. Or it can have additional designs and messages imprinted on it as well. Another idea is to fill up the shot glasses with pebbles, mints or little chocolates. Many planners even line them with colored paper to match their wedding’s color motif so they blend in as subtly as possible. Others, instead of having colored paper and little goodies inside the shot glass, actually place colored candles in it. So basically the candles can dress up the glasses while also sticking to the wedding’s color motif. Little cards with handwritten “thank you” notes make nice additions as well. Compared to other favors, shot glasses that are custom printed are functional for the guests who took them home too. These shot glasses are cute and pretty decorative items in their homes, along with the pebbles or candles in it. Or they also make nice additions to spice racks and glass cases. For those with candles in it, you can use the candles, and later on use the shot glasses for drinking, measuring liquor or any other liquids – especially when cooking or concocting something delicious to feed the guests. For those with home bars, these would be great too. They can use it every time they wish to have a shot – or two, as well as when they have company too. Guests can even use them right there at the wedding party when drinks start flowing out.
